The writer and visual artist Gary Barwin created these stunning visual pieces based on my scientific articles on a) the biodiversity and conservation of Wolf Lake Forest and b) climate change and whirligig beetles. My own found poems from these articles may be found in my book.

Several Canadian poets (e.g., Gary Barwin, Sonnet L'Abbe, Adam Dickinson, Brian Bartlett, Ruth Roach Pierson, Adam Sol, Richard Sternberg, and Kevin Spenst) took up the challenge of writing found poems from my scientific articles, some of which were presented at a poetry and science event hosted by the Bowery Poetry Club in New York City.

The visual artist Christina Kingsbury created an installation piece inspired by my poem "Strategy of the Majority", which itself is a found poem from my scientific article on forest pest spread. The work is part of the Open Field Collective's Street Projects.
